Club Awards

The Keyneton MCC have a number of Club Awards that are given out at the AGM each year.
Club Champion Award is awarded to the best performance in closed to club events held during the year and is awarded by the Club Captain.
Junior Club Champion Award – is awarded to the best performance in closed to club events held during the year and is awarded by the Club Captain.
Junior Club Day Award – is awarded by the Club Captain.
Clubperson of the Year Award – is presented every year by the President and is awarded to the member who has worked hard for the Club during the year.
Dennis Weichert Trophy  – is for the most promising novice rider or sidecar team in the Club and was donated to the Club by Life Member and 5 time 24 Hour Trial winner, Dennis Weichert.
Mike Connors Trophy – is awarded to the outright winner of the Keyneton MCC Reliability Trial. The Trophy was donated to the Club by Mike’s family after his death in 1977.
Never Say Die Award – Awarded to the Club member who refuses to give up. The Trophy was instigated in 2009 by the Club’s original Publicity Officer, David Mahlo.
Wack & Willy Award – is for the best performance by a KMCC junior in Moto Trials. The Trophy is in memory of Geoff Barratt (Wack) and Laurance Williams (Willy). Trophy donated by the Barratt and Williams families in 2012.

 

Motorcycling South Australia Awards received by Keyneton MCC or it’s members.

MSA Life Members – Life Membership is awarded by Motorcycling South Australia Inc (MSA).
Club of the Year Award – is awarded for outstanding achievement in Motorcycle sport.
Frank Franklin Trophy –  is awarded for an outstanding contribution to SA Motorcycle Sport.

Woman of the Year Award
Rising Star Award – is for the most promising rider in SA under the age of 16 yrs.
